Gaijin/The Foreigner (2006) is a short film animated with paper and plastic cut-outs. Japanese junk mail and packaging was the primary source of material. This was created while on a student exchange at Nagoya University of the Arts in Japan. This film was on display at the e4C, 4Culture’s media gallery in downtown Seattle for one year from 2009 to 2010:
