I’m happy to announce that if you’re in Seattle you’ll be able to catch four of my animated shorts at the Children’s Film Festival Jan 23-Feb 2, 2014.

The Whale Story will be screening in the ‘Paint Me A Story‘ program on Jan 25, 31 and Feb 1 (alongside Seattle’s own Stefan Gruber‘s excellent Edible Rocks and the mind blowing Noodle Fish by Kim Jin Man from South Korea. These two at least I know can definitely be enjoyed by adults as well as children, more reason to attend!)

A Walk in the Woods will be screening in the ‘Earthwise‘ program on Jan 25 and Feb 2 (alongside Seattle/Whidbey Island’s Drew Christie‘s excellent Song of the Spindle).

Snowball will be screening in the ‘Take Wing‘ program on Jan 26 and Feb 2. This film has only before been seen in Seattle at the recent Short Run Small Press Fest.

Hula Hoop will be screening in the ‘Talk to the Animals‘ program on Jan 31 and Feb 1 (alongside the excellent Hungarian short Rabbit and Deer by Peter Vacz which I saw at StopTrik in Poland and Klik! in Amsterdam and which I highly recommend).

Also make sure to catch the special Lotte Reiniger animated silhouette films playing with a live score on opening night!
