Last December I made a film here in The Netherlands called Breda on My Mind, where I asked volunteers to draw a giant map of their city from memory. It was filmed at the AKV St Joost art school, and it was made as a promo video for a local arts organization called the House of Visual Culture.
It premiered in Breda in January at a the local Culture Night, and now it’s having its first public screening outside Breda, at the NW Film Forum in Seattle, as part of the Capitol Hill Art Walk, July 10th. It will be screening in Cinema 2 on a reel along with other experimental film work. Stop by anytime between 6PM and 8PM! Happy hour prices at the bar.
