The Breda on My Mind project has entered the editing stage. In the end I will have two videos for the House of Visual Culture – one with just the time lapse footage from the GoPro, and one with a combination of time lapse and documentation footage.

The ‘Making Of’ version of the film was a challenge to edit because I had so much to choose from! The two camera people, Stein de Bont and Marlin Meulman, really did a great job. First job was to rename the best videos for easy identification.

As you can see above I then experimented with various ways of combining the time lapse and ‘Making Of’ footage. Things are still developing but I’m most happy with the last option. As there will be a whole separate video with just the time lapse, it seemed to make sense to concentrate on the Making Of in this one. But you still get a chance to compare the two viewpoints.
